When the player fails the level, none of the cards will be fatigued. The player has to switch places multiple times between flings.Īfter finishing a level, all cards used will be “fatigued.” This means that the card will not be available in a level for a certain amount of time. It allows the character to reach enemies that can’t be reached with another position. There are multiple positions where the slingshot can be placed. Instead, the player can switch places from which they fling their characters during the level. In Reward Chapter levels, strategy works differently: the player won’t be able to select their characters, because there is only one character to play with (the character that the reward level is from). Lastly, the player can also buy more cards in the shop. After achieving certain goals, the player can also receive gift boxes, that give them more cards to use. After finishing a level, they’ll receive one or two cards that will be available for using in the next levels and also in previous levels. The player earns more cards by playing levels. Tapping a card, the player can choose in what order to fling the birds/pigs. They will also be lined up behind the slingshot. When the player starts playing the level, the characters will show up in their card forms at the bottom of the screen. If the player has more than one card of the same character, they can also fill more than one slot with that character. You can, obviously, only pick one character per slot. The player taps a + and then the card of choice to in order to add a character to that slot. This roster appears as circles of light with a big “+” hovering above them. The player can tap those cards to transport them to the roster. The player can always go back to viewing the level with the tap of a button on the Select Screen. There is always a certain amount of birds/pigs that can be taken into a level. Then, they are sent to a screen that lets them select the characters they want to take into the level. Right before a level starts, the player gets to view the level. This game introduces a new way of playing Angry Birds: strategy. After reaching a certain amount of score with a single character, the reward level for that character will be unlocked. Every project has about two or three chapters that cover the storyline using cutscenes and settings in the levels.
In order to unlock more chapters the player must clear every preceding level.Įvery chapter is part of a Star Wars project. The Bird side of the very first chapter is always unlocked and the player can start playing its levels after following a little tutorial. The game consists of multiple chapters that come with both a Bird- and a Pork side part, which have 15 levels each. The goal is to eliminate all enemies in the level in order to pass it.
